Village | Restaurant Review |

The Village, instantly prepares you to experience an atmosphere and dishes that are rustic or are crowd pleasers. Village is one of the those theme restaurants that have stood the test of time. I’ve been visiting it for quite sometime now and i can tell you that, it’s been consistent with its offerings.

Ambiance & Decor : Village, displays a scenic representation of a marketplace in a typical village. With makeshift thelas, gaming shop, a jail & a signature banyan tree, its a good attempt. A few years ago it was even more colourful & as I’ve heard from the staff they plan to make it more exciting in the coming months & we can see more upgrades.

The hospitality is definitely one of their USP’s with a wonderful staff who have a keen eye for their customers. What i loved the most, is their entertainment factor. I, can tell you with assurance that very rarely will you find a restaurant with so much of character. Every one who arrives here will have a good time, dancing to the tunes & watching the amazing tricks.

The Grub Story :

The food is simple & basic. You will find classics like dal makhani, navratan kurma, malpua, Chaats, delectable naans etc,. The food has very basic flavours & what will interest you is the whole experience. A dedicated section to Salads, main courses, starters, breads & drinks is made.

Verdict : A good place to enjoy with the family when you are on a budget but do not wanna compromise with experience.
