“People want honest, flavourful food, not some show-off meal that takes days to prepare.” – Chef Ted Allen
If, you believe in that then you must also believe in the ease of one bowl meals that pamper your heart & soul. We all have seen a surge of Buddha bowl meals on our feeds, the trend caught fire early this year & has been unstoppable.
What started as a paean to the vegan way of living, has caught the fancy of the other side of the pasture as well. Ergo, we are spoiled for choice with versions of all kinds. I, had the privilege to be a part of the demo held by Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal, where she presented to us versions of the “Bombay Buddha Bowl” at a very apt location “Soda Bottle Opener Wala”
About Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal :
She is Food writer & consultant turned entrepreneur of the “ABP Cook Studio” fame. The cook studio, curates cooking experiences for one and all, with their state of the art kitchen & a pantry full of ingredients. It wasn’t a surprise to see, her whip up the Bombay Buddha Bowl for us with Chef Danesh Vakshoor with utmost ease.
About Soda Bottle Opener Wala:

Done in a tasteful style and with the quirk quotient, SBOW has always been known, for their unique and flavourful dishes & always in the loop for being creative. They had us burst in tears of happiness, when we got to know that the “Bombay Buddha Bowls”, would be available to public till 17th December 2017.
About Bombay Buddha Bowls Demo :
We were ushered into “Soda Bottle Opener Wala”, for the demo. As it hit dusk, the clink and clanks of the preparations started to be heard. The table was set and we saw “Rushina”, take over with the introductions. The tables were set with the ingredients and all we had to do was witness the magic.
The Gujarati Bowl was the lucky bowl that got to be demonstrated by Chef Danesh Vakshoor & Rushina. The ease with which they made the “Dal Dhokli Ravioli” and candied peanuts was a pleasure to watch.
